scope: after completing a masterplan for the library, product architects completed the second level - adult collection as part of the first phase in winter of 2014. product architects worked closely with the construction manager to ensure the existing details we reproduced closely to make the transition from old to new seamless. new flooring, furniture and lighting completed the second level.

teen: in early 2016 the new glen ellyn youth department was completed, featuring a wide open plan with its new tween space, study room, & story room pushed to the perimeter. all new finishes, heyduk inspired carpet pattern & new lighting systems
